About Us
The Clarence A. Jones Scholarship Foundation was established and granted a tax exempt status on May 23, 2008. It was named after our deceased Brother, Clarence A. Jones, who entered into Omega Chapter on September 30, 2006. The purpose of the scholarship foundation is to award academic scholarships to high school students in the Charlottesville and surrounding counties, as well as Waynesboro, Virginia. Since the Clarence A. Jones Scholarship Foundation was formed, it has granted more than $12,000 in scholarship money. Prior to the Foundation being formed, the Xi Iota Chapter had awarded more than $24,500 from 1995 to 2007.
The Foundation is directed by Raymond Carey, Melvin Burruss, Jerrod Smith,James Barlow, Fitzgerald Barnes, Garwin DeBerry Sr. , Steve Ivory, Eugene Perry, and Robert Morgan.
